Oil and the Dead Sea - Yes it is believe to be there as well

I begin to wonder at those that say there is NO oil in Israel. I mean hatred for Zion aside, Genie, Givot, Shell, Exxon, and many others have stated there is oil there with Givot actually producing 1 million barrels of light sweet crude. There are rumors of a revival of sorts for NESS. This time the Dead Sea is the area of exploration.
So I think there is oil there as the Bible refers to it in pools or something of that nature. I did a search on it and came up with these. I am sure I will find more as my search continues. Feel free to post things about Dead Sea Oil here.

So there is oil in Israel, that is FACT. Why are so many against this small nation having its own oil? Why is Zion attacked the way it is? I think NESS and its history play a part but they NEVER DRILLED.

A new report released Sunday by Israel Opportunity Energy Resources LP and filed with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange claimed an oil reservoir near the Dead Sea is worth NIS 1.2 billion ($320 million).
The study, conducted by the independent Australian-based Dunmore Consulting company, said that the Hatrurim area contains from seven to eleven million barrels of oil. According to Channel 2, the Israel Opportunity Energy Resources said the report indicates a 100 percent chance of striking oil at the site, which covers 94 square kilometers in the Dead Sea area.
