I saw the link on the Hub and decided to watch it. I have not been following Zion Oil as closely as in the past for many reasons. There are things going on in the area that give me pause as to what work can actually happen with the geopolitical situation.
I was over there in September and saw the rig. It was important for me to see that it was there just as we were told. Then Oct 7 happened and everything changed. What challenge this will be to even get a crew in there. I want the reader to understand that the well is very close to the Golan Heights. It is a dangerous place to be but the locals have been dealing with this for years, just not in the same capacity. This would include the Arabs as well as the Jews. They are all Israelis by citizenship. It is a functioning democracy.
As for the video, I think it is a fair assessment of the present situation and does explain what to look for over the next few months.
It is neither a pumper nor shorter view. Balanced I would say.
This is stock is now so risky that it makes it a gut feeling to own it. The odds are not in Zion Oil's favor. Yet, I think there is oil there. I know there is oil there, but is it recoverable? That is the question.
This journey of mine has been a very long one. I have learned so much about Oil and how to get it. I also have learned about the new technologies afoot. Remember, I was saying that Givot fracked the Meged back in the day. The risks with fracking of any type are now so much less since the technology has improved that much. We know that MJ-1 is not a conventional well in the big picture, and Israel must feel the methodologies being used are safe or they would not have approved the plan.
So I have not added any shares for ~2 years and my investment has dropped but that was the risk I took, willingly. I have no plans to add to my shares in the interim. I might if the price meets my criteria but that is my decision. I own plenty for now anyway. 750 million shares outstanding is not a good thing no matter how one looks at it. Dilution sucks.
I still know that there is a group of folks that want to see Zion Oil gone, and that is still a possibility for sure. This website was created to document what happened as best I could in 2018 and the assault that took place on it. Zion survived the games against it. The SEC and lawsuits were nothingburgers. However Zion Oil is still around and in Israel, with a license, and a plan to test new technology to find the oil. There will always be a demand for oil, and the green movement has shown the world how impractical green energy is.
So , its 25 minutes long, and worth the watch.
To the author, well done.
