Well I saw the meeting. Here are my thoughts...(if you care)

First impressions are positive, very positive. They were somewhat open about things. It was expressed they are an exploration company, not a production company (yet). This is important to understand, or at least I do get it. Shorty does not and it does not fit the agenda they are presenting in the slightest. << remember this one.
I was ticked about going back to MJ1. Now I understand it or at least why it is worth the time to do so and the monies to do it.
Fracking - I thought they did a good job explaining this. 10 years ago was a much different world. Fracking to my knowledge was to stimulate with chemicals, pour sand into it and hold the path and commence flow. This implies all horizontal wells! Guess what? Our rig has just that capability!
Now, with new technology, water is not needed in volume to implement the stimulation and stimulate a flow. I guess we could call the old way, 'conventional fracking'. This is not what they are talking about. I will not go deep into what I thought it was as there are plenty of posts on this site that explain it. Givot had similar issues as well. What could they do with cash and the new technology now? They have a production license still to this day! This is important to understand. Givot is NOT active anymore, they ran out of funds, yet they own the license for the Meged Field and this one produced a million barrels of light sweet crude!
This is not what the press has told us about fracking but that is what it DID. Now it is a different ballgame altogether. I personally hate the press (THEY LIE), they are bought and paid for. Independent journalism is the future if you do not already know.
Technology is a great thing at times but it is a pain in the arse to maintain, and I know this personally with what I do as a job.
The diet Coke was a good analogy indeed. There is no doubt oil is there, I know this by my heart, yet they said the same in so many words. The three areas in both MJ1 and MJ2 have hydrocarbons. The trick is getting it out and to the surface. Low porosity and permeability, why would Zion say that? Well, that is what they have and yet they explained how it could be brought to the surface.
If you have not seen the 2 hour presentation, as a shareholder, you SHOULD.
Here are a few slides for better understanding of what is going on.
I am a bit disappointed with Halliburton. The reason I say this is I hire companies to come do things. If their equipment fails and costs me monies, it costs them as well. Stuff breaks, it happens, I just had a transformer failure and substation issues. I deal with it as that is part of operating is a modern world. I wish Zion would have told this to us earlier, but you do not want to give your contractors black eyes either. So I would bet, Haliburton will do the right thing as my experience with companies with good relationships share this type of burden.
Micropropant Technology - Well this is something I have never heard before but I think I have a grasp of what it is and how it works. If that is what I think it is, it is a gamechanger. Not just for Zion Oil but Oil Production around the world. In my mind it replaces the 'sand' in the old ways. That is a big deal!
As for the license, I too feel confident they will get it. The reasoning was good and makes sense. It explains at least to me the whys. Nothing in government is fast, try to get an environmental permit quickly. I was on a project that did just that but it was still 18 months and that was in a favorable state in the USA!
So in conclusion, would I recommend investing in Zion Oil now? Depends. It is risky as heck but the rewards could be huge but the odds are not in your favor. Yet, I remember the mission statement and I am still here. Will I throw more monies at it? Probably not at this time but I still hold all my shares.
Yes I voted against the share increase but my shares are minimal and only 300 million voted so there are many who did not vote their shares. Why? Well I have my ideas but I bet some have just given up and look to take the losses etc.
I have one question that was not answered nor was it asked.
What happened to the whale(s)? This concerns me but I have my suspicions about that one but I will not state them in public.
As a shareholder, I am pleased with what I just watched. I like when they communicate and I get pissed when they don't. This is a good step forward.
Message to Zion Oil <> Offense is the best Defense, stop worrying about the woke. Go with God's guidance and the enemy will loose.
Heck they have already lost and don't yet realize it!
For Christ has Risen, He has Risen indeed!
