Interesting thought. In my case I am down quite a bit and I have a few shares I could day trade but it would not give Zion much coin to DSP in the real world. MY powder was used already. There could be new powder I guess. I would like to use that to DCA my shares in my actual trading account. Still you have a valid point. |

As I consider it my situation is limited also -
DSPP account doesn't work.
Margin account doesn't work and losses might not be deductible without a 30 day waiting period to repurchase.
Roth/IRA accounts would probably trigger distributions/taxes.
So probably not doable for most folks ...
I'm neither a CPA nor accountant, but I'm good at messing up taxes?!?
