Well I called IR,
Of course they are very busy and it took about 4 calls to get through but I did.
This is by MY memory so take that for what it is.
(1) Why wait to tell us about bad charges and poor packer performance? Well on the technical side they could not help but I guess others had asked the same questions. The answers were it was not a deliberate thing with the charges and once they knew they went and got the right ones.
(2) Why say fluid and not water and oil and what percentages? I guess this has also been a standard question. Without using technical lingo, it was a result of what they were doing while swabbing and testing. It is not reflective of anything really and I understood the answer as such. They are not trying to hide anything.
(3) SEC - most calls are about that and the associated lawsuits. He did confirm that they do NOT know what the SEC is looking for and they have about provided all the paperwork that was requested. The reasons for it are all speculation as only the SEC knows what they are after. I get the feeling they are not too worried about it, even with all the noise it has generated. He said they have nothing to hide. It is a burden on them as well as a financial drain but that is part of doing business.
(4) Financing - asked about partners and possible investors, was told he had not really heard of any, doesn't seem to be a concern in the office. Of course if it were a concern then they could not tell me anyway so take that for what it is worth.
(5) They are STILL testing the Triassic! Let that sink in a minute. I had thought they said it was not commercial but if you read the PR it says as of right now. I asked again, you mean the Jurassic right? NO - Still testing the Triassic. I find that interesting to say the least.
(6) PRs and frequencies - I said as a shareholder I was a bit pissed that I have to wait 2 months to find out about bad charges and poor packer performance. I want regular operational updates from now on or I will not participate in any offering. I want them to give me good news or bad news but not NO news. Understood and will pass that on. He said that he expected more frequent updates but that was his hunch only not something they had said. I remembered that they do not have access to information until 24 hours before investors.
(7) In summary - nothing to really make me feel better nor worse. Just confused me as to why still testing in the Triassic? Did they release a PR to shut down the speculation? It could very well be that but that is just me.
I will update this if I can remember anymore. Thing is have notes BEFORE You call.
